Seing as Seashore Frosts was the one shade that stood out to you the most from my Maybelline Summer 2013 LE Color Tattoo post, I thought it would be a good idea to come back with a quick FOTD with it.
Turns out "quick" was a bit of a recipe for disaster in this case, and my rush to take advantage of some decent natural light ended up with me getting a little blush-happy! In any case, here's my attempt for a Seashore Frosts FOTD, as requested:
Duochromes, along with glitters are notoriously hard to photograph, especially if you're still working with an old point & shoot camera, but I'm hoping that the golden sheen of Seashore Frosts is still noticeable, especially in the areas where the light hits it directly.
I had a beach-meets-ocean theme for the overall look, and here's what
I used to achieve (?) it:
Face
Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation - Shade 50 Vanille Rose
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer - Shade 1 Fair
Korres Monoi Oil Bronzing Powder - Shade 02 Sunglow Warm
Peggy Sage Mosaic Powder - Shade Sienne Brulee (used as blush)
Wet n Wild Mega Glo Illuminating Powder - Shade 345 Catwalk Pink (as a highlighter)
Eyes
Maybelline Color Tattoo - 40 Seashore Frosts (all over the lid)
Maybelline Color Tattoo - 10 Precious Pearl (tiny accent in the inner corner)
MAC eyeshadow - Deep Truth (outer V)
MAC eyeshadow - Wedge (crease)
The Body Shop khol eyeliner - Brilliant Blue (possibly discontinued?)
La Roche Posay Respectissime Mascara
MAC eyeshadow - Omega (eyebrow filler)
Lips
NARS lipgloss - Greek Holiday
Hope this gave you a better impression of Seashore Frosts in action, as well as an idea for possible look you can create with it!
Beautiful! I wish I could pull of these colours. I might give this look a go and see if I can get away with it :)

@Sarah N: I think that the pearly sheen and the brown in the crease can make blues more wearable! Hope you can get it to work for you! :)

ReplyDelete@Jacq H: Thank you girl! Yes, I think blue is underrated, there is a way to wear it without it looking too too "much" if that makes sense! :) x
DeleteI hope this color looks good on me but it only makes me look like I have a black eye. It looks good on you plus I love that shade on your cheek!
ReplyDelete@Janelle Lee: Thank you! I suggest finding a shade of blue that compliments your colours, and starting out with a modest placement, to see how you get on with it! :)
