Black for summer...!

Fact 1: I love shoes. I 'm actually convinced I will never have enough and one of my vainest dreams is a shoe closet similar to Mariah Carey's (ok, in fact, most celebrities' shoe closets would do)!

Fact 2: I love black. It's such a basic colour for me and 9 out of 10 times there's a bit of black on my outfit.

Black, however, has never been the most obvious choice of colour for me, when it came to picking a pair of shoes for summer. Beige, brown, silver and white have been the standard choices for years.
Until this year that is. Now, I 'm not sure I can explain this sudden change of opinion, but nonetheless, black pairs is what I 've been going for the past few months.

And, without further ado, I present you:

1. My latest purchase: Black heeled sandals from Fausta Moretti (an Italian brand). I 'm in love with these! Only sad thing, is that I don't go out enough to wear them!

2. My everyday flats: This is a pair by Raphaella Booz (a Brazilian brand I had never heard of). These are great for everyday, going to school, running errands etc!

3. My black wedges: These were a present, and I love them dearly. They're by Logan (another Italian brand I 'd never heard of) and they are super super comfortable! This is the pair to pick when wearing a pair of jeans that's looser around the ankle... ;)

So, what do you guys think?
Would you pick a black pair of shoes for summer or go for lighter ones...?

What's your opinion?

OH MY SHOE! I love the first ones.. they are so sexy! It doesnt matter that you dont wear them.. just to know you have them is good! Are they comfortable to walk in?

The other two are also great and look very comfortable..but the first ones are just perfect for summer!

I also chose black most of the time.. its just such a clasic color you cant really go wrong! xxxxx

@Tali: LoL girl! :PPP Yes, they are love, I was so happy when I found them and in my size too!!!

They are ok to walk in, not as comfortable as the wedges of course, but still ok to wear standing up for few hours.... ;)

I agree with you on black, is why I love it so much! I think we have quite similar taste! ;)

Enjoy your emeralds! Lol! Turns out there is an Emerald Liner pencil, no 17(and I have it too duh), they just don't make an emerald liquid liner...lol

I like all three shoes, and yes, I would choose black for summer. For me, its the style not the color of shoe. The last pair I want! Very nice :) xxNadia

You know I adore shoes! Any colour, any style!! I do not often go for black shoes but they are the best as they go with anything and get less dirty!!

LOVE the first pair.

I often buy shoes when I do not have places to wear them, haha. I swear the people at work think I am insane with the shoes I sometimes wear in!

Im a black kind of girl 2.. all year round.. altough recently I've bought a light beige pair, and today a pair of snakeprint gladiator sandal looking ones.. :O
