On the wishlist!
September was a rather dull month on the beauty front: between a luurvely reaction to my newfound all-natural, yet high-tech skincare approach and the many days spent indoors stressing about... well, everything really, I can't say I have anything exciting to report.
So, what does one do when feeling uninspired? Make a wishlist, naturally!
And, no, I don't mean the "go out for long walks, drink more water, find the beauty of mundane things" type of list (although that one couldn't hurt, I spose), but the more superficial kind, i.e. beauty sh*t that $($$) can buy!
Here's what my vain side decided it needs:
Charlotte Tilbury makeup. Can't get more high end than that. 'Nough said!
Clarins Eye Quartet Mineral Palette in Forest. Cos you have to have some khakis!
YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation. Odd choice, since my skin could gladly use all the coverage it can get at the moment, but it's been too long feeling left out when it comes to this one.
Bobbi Brown High Shimmer Lip Gloss in Naked Plum. I won't wax lyrical about Bobbi Brown lipglosses yet again, I'll just confess I need this shade for winter!
Pai Chamomile & Rosehip Moisturiser. I have high hopes for this moisturiser, I only wish my weird skin tolerates it well.
OPI San Francisco minis. Muir Muir on the Wall, and Peace, Love & OPI, I'm looking at you! :)
Oh, yeah, new layout by the way, apparently that's another thing one does for some inspiration! I can see it needs some minor tweaking, but, for the most, part, I think this will be it for a while, if anything, I can't bother with seamless textures and new GIMP tutorials and html tampering anymore (cos, naturally, it's not inspiring enough, unless you do it yourself). And because I'm gonna keep saying "inspiring" forever if I don't end this post right now, ("Gretchen, stop trying to make fetch happen!"), I wish you all goodnight (or goodmorning, depending on your time zone)! :)

I have to say thatwith THIS wishlist a tear just rolled down my cheeks! I mean it cannot be more high end and more beautiful! And btw want Pai, Charlotte Tilbury , OPI, Bobbi Brown...oh well I may just copy the whole list!!hehe ps. get inspired pretty lady every day, I like it!!!! ;)
ReplyDelete@Blushingloves Irene Greece: I know, imagine what tears it will bring to my bank account, haha! But, it's tough to resist such stuffs, am I right? ;) x
DeleteI want some CT and Pai products myself :)
ReplyDelete@Marina(Makeup4all): Hehe, why am I not surprised?! Well, you know what they say "great minds, etc etc"! ;) <3
DeleteGorgeous wish list! I'll take one of each, please :)
ReplyDelete@Emma Henderson: Thank you (and belated welcome to my blog)! :) Hope you get your mitts on some of them too!
DeleteFirst I like the new layout and I really want the Clarins palette too!
ReplyDelete@Adeola Naomi Aderemi: Hi dear! Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it! The Clarins is hopefully on its way to me, I'll try to make a review as soon as it gets here! :) Hope you're well!
DeleteI was set on getting the CT Magic Cream but at £70something, I 'll pass! Love the design though, very sleek and current but with a vintage gloss. If you're interested in Pai, for €6 ( I think) you can get a sample set plus a free lovely Muslim cloth, so you can try it before purchasing! I wish every skincare brand would do this.
ReplyDelete@ScrapgalGR: Oh, yes, *that* cream! I think I saw the ingredients somewhere over the internet, I truthfully don't think that they justify that price! The makeup items, however, look stunning, from packaging to pigmentation - I'm sold! I see you mentioned Pai, yes, I got the sample kit, and I'm still working my way through it, but I haven't made up my mind 100% yet (all thanks to my mofo of a skin). But, I agree, it's an excellent way to try the products (though I'll probably order a full sized one to properly test it)! xx
